Our Adoption Process
In Order to purchase one of our puppies we first like to get to know our perspective new owners through an application process which is basically a phone interview. We do this because we want to make sure each of our puppies is the perfect match for them and the home they will be going to.
Once a puppy is matched with its owner, a $500 deposit is required to hold your puppy until you are able to pick him or her up or they leave with a transporter . The remaining balance should be paid in full before they leave. Our puppies are usually ready to leave for their forever homes after they turn 8 weeks old and are at least 1lb.
While your new puppy is in our care we will update you at least weekly with pictures, weights, and videos of your puppy. We love to keep open communication with our new owners as they are now apart of our chihuahua family. We also like to share our puppies on social media so we can all watch them grow together.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: “What paperwork will I receive for my puppy?”
A: You will receive your AKC registration papers, bill of sale, puppy contract, healthy vet check, and vaccination and worming records .
Q: “What forms of payment do you accept?”
A: We can accept Cash, Apple Pay, PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo. We can accept credit or debit cards through Square . Square invoices will have a 3% processing fee added to them.
Q: “Can I pick my dogs name?”
A: Of course ! As soon as you choose a name for your pet we will begin to use their new name so they will learn it as early as possible.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is the responsibility of the new owner.
You are more than welcome to come pick up your puppy we are in Coweta, Oklahoma . If you would like your puppy driven to you it can be worked out. We also have an excellent relationship with a pet nanny who flies to most major airports for a fee if she is available to do so.
